Why Join NJB?
NJB Mission StatementWhat We ProvideContact Us |
National Junior Basketball is the largest
youth basketball program in the nation consisting of over
40,000 athletes in 150+ cities. Our regular season
starts in November and ends in March. Our master plan
is to establish an NJB Chapter in every major city by 2008,
which consists of "Divisional" teams (equivalent to
Recreation Leagues) and "All-Net" Team (Chapter All-Stars).
Divisional Leagues have four divisions (1st/2nd, 3rd/4th,
5th/6th, and 7th/8th Grades) while All-Net Leagues have
separate divisions for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades for
both boys and girls. NJB hosts tournaments year round
in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, San Diego, Santa
Barbara, and San Jose.
Newly formed NJB Chapters begin by
identifying high schools that are user friendly and open to
working with youth programs. The High School coaches
will open their doors as you will be training their future
high school athletes. NJB will sponsor free fundamental
clinics in the hopes of increasing interest, then enrolls
athletes from the clinics in the hopes of increasing
interest, then enrolls athletes from the clinics and off we
go!
There are private leagues that have
converted over to NJB for our strong foundation, AND1
corporate sponsorship, use of NJB's non-profit status,
strong insurance packages and liability coverage, coaches
clinics, nationwide tournaments, and organized leagues.
NJB's major attraction is our National Championships in
Orange County during March.
We hope you will Jump on board and create
excitement in your city! Please e-mail
